How to read the results

Monthly price is what the carrier quoted for the combination of benefits, period and health class you entered, paid on a monthly basis. Rate class is the underwriting band the quote uses; the insurance company will confirm the actual class after underwriting. Exam shows whether the carrier will need a medical exam; many expedited programs can skip exams for qualified applicants. A.M. Best shows the carrier's financial strength rating.
